Part-time Dock-Workers (Sit-down Forklift)
Immediate openings in Mundelein, IL
$12.90 per hour to start
BIG $ increase after 90 days when converted to staff!!
Seeking experienced sit-down Forklift Operators !
SHIFTS AVAILABLE
:
Part-time positions can start between 3pm and 5pm and run until at least 9:00pm
REQUIREMENTS
:
Minimum one year previous sit-down Forklift experience required.
Prior dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industry is a BIG +
Prior experience loading and unloading trailers preferred
Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
Ability to read a ruler or tape measure.
Basic written and verbal English communication skills required (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope).
Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time on a loading dock that is not climate-controlled
All positions are temp-to-hire, working in a freight cross-dock environment.
Wage increase to at least $17/hour upon hire!
