'IS Solution Architect - Product Divisions and Manufacturing Medline Industries has an immediate opening for a technical Solution Architect experienced with enterprise platforms, application modernization, systems integration and Citizen IT enablement. They will provide technical leadership and manage the overall solution design for systems enabling teams to optimize their use of technology to create business value and operate more efficiently. Candidates will work with IT leaders, functional and technical teams throughout design and implementation to ensure that the overall composition of their solutions meet the goals of business sponsors and enterprise architecture best practices. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Understands business drivers and capabilities (current and future state), determines corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes Creates detailed design specifications to document architecture decisions and recommendations; communicates the architectural specifications to designers, developers, contractors and business sponsors in a directly actionable, clear and unambiguous manner Identifies the scalability, resiliency, quality, supportability, speed of implementation and total cost of ownership of the solutions being implemented Acts as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms and vendor offerings while maintaining alignment with the overall Enterprise Architecture and Governance practice Facilitates architecture design reviews to ensure solution designs meet functional and non-functional requirements, such as security, compliance, system scalability and reliability Defines principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns, and ensures their adoption and use Collaborates with Enterprise Architects to review and assess new technologies to ensure compliance with Medline standards Works closely with IT leaders and application owners to maintain current application and technical inventories and future roadmaps Develops an expertise in business processes and employed technologies; obtains a broad knowledge of the existing application and service landscape Keeps current on Healthcare industry technology trends, including research and assessment of new and/or alternate technologies that further business goals and provide competitive advantages Partners with vendor and development teams to ensure build activities adhere to agreed service and technical architectures Maintains a professional demeanor at all times; proactively manages and mitigates portfoliorisk. Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, systems engineering or a related study Work Experience 10
years of experience multiple IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal team members as well as senior-level executives Natural leader skilled at influencing, guiding and facilitating stakeholders and peers with decision making and accountability Experience building secure applications suitable for commercial Healthcare operations, having familiarity with PHI, PII, and HIPAA compliance requirements Full lifecycle knowledge in one or more of the following functional domains:
Corporate Finance and Risk Sales and Distribution Manufacturing and Procurement HR/Payroll and Expense Management Legal & Compliance Large-scale enterprise platform rationalization, modernization and transformation experience An understanding of different integration methodologies including ETL, EDI, asynchronous messaging, service-based integration and file transfer patterns Technical experience with back-office platforms / ERPs supporting with heavy cross-functional collaboration and system integration Experience implementing Web Service Integration (REST v2, SOAP), APIs, course grained and micro services Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring & Management tools Partnership with application delivery teams, which includes DevOps, unit testing, CI/CD, security testing, performance and load testing Experience in working with multi-site global teams and Agile/SCRUM delivery PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS Work Experience Platform

ERPs such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA or QAD; Enterprise integration platforms like SAP PI/PO, Azure Integration Services, Azure API Manager or WSO2; Master Data Management platforms like Informatica; Workload Automation tools like AutoSys; ETL tools like Talend; HRIS and Workforce Management platforms like PeopleSoft or Workday; Learning Management Systems like ComplianceWire; Monitoring tools like SolarWinds or ExtraHop; BPM platforms like Appian or K2; RPA platforms like UiPath Experience with Azure Cloud-based architectures and Cloud Modernization or transformation initiatives Familiarity with UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
