Are you looking to make more money and take on a challenge? This is a position that requires set-up and operation of CNC Mitsubishi Wire EDMs producing stainless steel components for reusable laparoscopic medical devices which are assembled in house.
Seeking a willing and eager worker.
Responsibilities:
Setup and Operate CNC Wire EDM's.
Assist with development and continuous improvement of programs, tools, and fixtures.
Perform 1st piece and in-process inspections.
Use Micrometer, Caliper, Gage Pins, Keyence, Micro-Vu Observe good documentation practices and good manufacturing practices Maintain an organized and productive work area which promotes safety, quality, and throughput.
Contribute practical ideas for the design of new products which will make them easier and less costly to machine.
This includes ideas for increasing the productivity of existing processes.
Assist Quality in root cause investigations of nonconforming products and implementation of corrective actions.
Perform preventative maintenance Responsibilities include assisting with operating Swiss Machine Center and HAAS Milling.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must possess the ability to read drawings and take measurements with basic measuring devices.
They must be comfortable around machines and be willing to learn various CNC machines.
Experience in Setup of CNC Wire EDM Centers is required.
Opportunity for growth in learning additional machine centers such as Citizen Swiss Machines and HAAS VF-0, VF-2, VF-3, Mini-Mill, and SL-10.
Milling and Swiss machine operation are a plus.
